I thought it was understood that we would proceed with the motion in my name which appears as item No. 19 on the Order Paper. Surely it is not the fact there was a defeat of the Government by two votes on a Bill that is causing this terrible flutter in the Government dovecots?
The House meets normally at 10.30 on Friday. The incident which the Deputy brushed aside so lightly a moment ago will require the consideration of the Executive Council.
Will we get any indication from the President that my motion will be discussed to-morrow?
I do not think so.
