Vol. 34 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Supplies of Milling Wheat and Flour.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he will state the approximate quantities of milling wheat and flour available within the Saorstát on any date, or, if possible, any two dates a month apart during the past six months, and the period or periods for which, at the normal rate of consumption, such quantities would be sufficient to maintain the population.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply of the 27th March to a similar question. Since particulars as to stocks of milling wheat and flour are not furnished to my Department, it is not possible to give the desired information.
