Vol. 34 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Donnycarney Housing Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether, in view of the time stipulation for the erection of 179 houses under the Housing of the Working Classes Acts at Donnycarney, he can state whether these houses will be completed within the specified time, and if his attention has been drawn to the stoppage (almost complete) of work on the scheme; and if he can state when the full complement of workers will be employed on the work.

The contract for the erection of the houses is one between the City Commissioners and the contractors. Any failure to comply with its terms is a matter entirely for the Commissioners.
