Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rogers Estate (Sligo).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if and when the Land Commission intend to acquire the lands of Urlaur and Kintogher, Co. Sligo, from Mr. Charles G. Rogers for the relief of local congestion.

Proceedings have been instituted under the provisions of the Land Act, 1923, for the acquisition of two holdings held by Mr. Rogers at Urlaur and Kintogher, containing 92a. 3r. 5p. and 60a. 2r. 16p. respectively. The offer made by the Land Commission for the purchase of these holdings has been accepted and instructions are about to be issued for the preparation of a resale scheme for the division of these lands.
