Vol. 35 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clery Estate (Co. Limerick).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether the estate of Mr. Claude V. Clery, Mitchelstowndown, Knocklong, Co. Limerick, has yet been acquired by the Land Commission; and, if so, if he is now in a position to state when this estate will be divided amongst uneconomic holders in the locality.

The lands of Mitchels-towndown East and Mitchelstown-down on the estate of Morgan O'Brien and Michael Sheehan (formerly Claude V. Clery) containing respectively 38a. 2r. 20p. and 26a. 0r. 13p. were published in a Provisional List of lands which, if not excluded in consequence of a valid objection, would become vested in the Land Commission on the Appointed Day. The owners objected to the acquisition of these lands by the Land Commission and after a hearing the Land Commission allowed the objections and the proceedings accordingly came to an end.
