Electoral (Dublin Commercial) Bill, 1930—First Stage.

I beg to ask for leave to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to provide for and regulate the preparation and maintenance of the registers of commercial electors in the City of Dublin in pursuance of the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1930, and to provide for and regulate the conduct of elections of the commercial members of the Dublin City Council in pursuance of the said Act.

This will be a machinery Bill in connection with the electoral register and I expect it will be in Deputies' hands to-morrow morning.

Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, 11th June.
