Vol. 36 No. 10

Adjournment Motion.

Might I ask the President at what hour he hopes to conclude the business?

I hope it will conclude about eight o'clock.

Will the President say that the adjournment will be moved at eight o'clock?

The Deputy will understand the difficulty I am in. Item No. 6 on the Order Paper to my mind can be disposed of in a couple of hours, but I have not had an opportunity of finding out what Deputy Lemass thinks in regard to it. If that motion dragged on for some hours it would upset my calculations considerably.

Could the President not fix an hour not later than which the adjournment might be moved?

I would suggest nine o'clock.

Ordered accordingly.

Could the Minister for Local Government make any statement in regard to the introduction of the Housing Bill?

I can give no date to the Deputy.
