Vol. 37 No. 8

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Derriman Estate (Kildare).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he can state when the Derriman Estate at Ticknevin, Carbury, County Kildare, will be divided amongst uneconomic holders.

The question of the acquisition of the untenanted land on the Derriman Estate, and also of the resumption of a large holding on the tenanted portion of this estate, which is being dealt with under the purchase provisions of the Land Act, 1923, is under consideration by the Land Commission, but it is not possible at the present stage of the proceedings to state when such lands as may be acquired will be divided.
