Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Thorpe Lands (Kildare).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will instruct the Land Commission to acquire the lands containing 240 acres, 3 roods, 25 perches, valuation £190, held by Robert Francis Thorpe, in the townland of Graiguepottle, electoral division of Balraheen (Aylmer Estate), County Kildare, for the relief of congestion.

The holding of Robert F. Thorpe, Mary E. Thorpe and Charles H. Thorpe, containing 240a. 3r. 25p., in the townland of Graiguepottle, and 74a. 3r. 0p. in the townland of Clonduff, on the estate of Major John W. Aylmer, Co. Kildare, was retained by the Land Commission on the Appointed Day, the 8th August, 1930, and the question of instituting proceedings for the resumption of the lands is under consideration.
