Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of the Gordon Estate (Sligo).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he can state if the Land Commission have acquired the lands of Carrownedin, on the Gordon Estate, in the parish of Kilglass, Co. Sligo, and, if so, when the Land Commission propose subdividing these lands.

The Land Commission have not yet acquired the lands of Carrownedin, on the Gordon estate, but the price of these lands has been fixed and a scheme for their division is in course of preparation. Until this scheme has been completed and approved the Land Commission will not be in a position to state when the lands will be divided.
