Vol. 37 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Statement by British Minister.

asked the President if he is prepared to take the Dáil into his confidence with regard to the "delicate and difficult negotiations" just concluded with Great Britain, referred to by the British Secretary of State for the Dominions at a St. Patrick's Day banquet in London.

The Deputy's question evidently refers to a Press summary of a speech delivered by Mr. Thomas. I do not know if the summary is an accurate representation of his remarks. I presume they had reference to matters arising out of the Imperial Conference, which the Minister for External Affairs will fully explain on the occasion of the discussion on the report of that Conference.
