Vol. 38 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Lands—Drumsna.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when he proposes to take over the lands owned by Messrs. McKeon and Notley, Drumsna, which have been recently inspected through his Department.

As the Deputy has already been informed, the Land Commission have had the circumstances of the lands of Drumsna, the property of Mrs. Margaret McKeon, investigated, and do not propose to take any action at present for their acquisition. These lands have already been purchased under the Land Purchase Acts. As regards the lands of Annaduff Glebe, held by Mr. Arthur Notley, the question of their acquisition is at present under consideration.
