Vol. 38 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Inspection of Bog.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when the inspection of Rinnegowna Bog, Dromod, Co. Leitrim, on the Earl of Granard's Estate, was carried out, and when he proposes to have said bog allotted to the various applicants.

The Land Commission have directed an inspection of Rinnegowna Bog, but the inspector's report has not yet been received. It is not possible to state at present when the bog will be divided.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary say, having regard to the length of time since that bog was directed to be inspected, and the great necessity for the sub-division of the bog, why is there such delay in carrying out the sub-division?
