Vol. 38 No. 4

Written Answer. - Acquisition of Lands for Relief of Congestion in Offaly.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the lands of Pidgeonstown, Kinnitty, Co. Offaly, estate of Mrs. Bidulph, for the relief of congestion in the locality.

The question of the acquisition for the relief of congestion of the holding of 140 acres at Pidgeonstown on the estate of Mrs. Alexander and others, of which Mrs. Bidulph is tenant, will be considered by the Land Commission when they are dealing with the estate in its turn under the purchase provisions of the Land Act, 1923.
