Vol. 39 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Electricity in Ballyhaunis.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that the town of Ballyhaunis is still without a supply of electric current, although a large number of business premises and residences were wired by the Electricity Supply Board in 1930; and whether he will make representations to the Electricity Supply Board to expedite the extension of the current to that town.

Economic considerations must determine any further extensions of electricity supply. An extension to Ballyhaunis will be examined by the Electricity Supply Board in the light of such considerations.
