Vol. 40 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Eager Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state if the Land Commission intend to take over in the immediate future the lands known as the Frenchgrove Farm, on the Eager Estate, at present in possession of Mr. J. Hession and others; and if the above lands will be available for the relief of congestion at an early date.

The Land Commission have obtained an order authorising them to resume the holding at Frenchgrove in the occupation of Mr. James J. Hession and Mrs. Annie Fitzpatrick, and a scheme for the division of the lands is in course of preparation. When the scheme has been completed and approved, arrangements will be made to take over possession of the lands.
