Vol. 40 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Uneconomic Holdings in Tipperary.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state if it is the intention of the Land Commission to take over the estate of General Parker, Garrykennedy, Portroe, Nenagh, and divide those lands amongst the landless men and uneconomic holders in that area.

The Land Commission issued an offer for the purchase of the lands of Garrykennedy on the estate of General Parker and the offer has been refused. The question of further action is at present under consideration.
