Vol. 40 No. 13

Written Answers. - Repayment of Daíl Bonds—Wexford.

asked the Minister for Finance whether subscriptions of £2 and £1 were received from James Culleton, Corramore, Ballycullane, and Mrs. Conway, Corramore, Ballycullane, respectively, for Dáil Eireann Loan: whether he proposes to have these loans repaid; and, if so, when.

Authority was given to the Department of Posts and Telegraphs on the 20th May, 1930, for the issue to Mr. James Culleton, of Corramore, Ballycullane, of a Savings Certificate to enable him to obtain repayment in respect of his subscription. I understand that the Savings Certificate was duly issued, and receipt thereof was acknowledged by Mr. Culleton on the 4th June, 1930.

There is no trace in the records in my Department of a subscription to the Dáil Loan in the name of Mrs. Conway, of Corramore, Ballycullane. Inquiries are, however, being made in the matter.
