Twenty-Seventh Report of the Committee of Selection. - Mines and Minerals Bill, 1931—Money Resolution—(Committee).

Resolved:—"That it is expedient to authorise the payment as the case may require (a) out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof, (b) out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas, of any expenses incurred in carrying into effect any Act of the present Session to establish a Board to perform functions in relation to mines and minerals, to authorise the making of leases of mines and minerals belonging to or vested in Saorstát Eireann, to make provision for facilitating the working of other mines and minerals and for imposing restrictions on the working of minerals required for the support of buildings and works, to amend the law with respect to mines and for other purposes incidental to the matters aforesaid."—Minister for Industry and Commerce (Mr. McGilligan).
