Forty-seven applications under the Housing (Gaeltacht) Act have been received from Cape Clear Island. Thirty-nine of these have been investigated locally and in eight cases sanction has been given for assistance. Thirty-one cases are in course of examination at headquarters, and are being dealt with as expeditiously as possible.
