Vol. 40 No. 19

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Louth Scheme for Sale of Labourers' Cottages.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has at any time received from the County Louth Board of Health a scheme for the sale of labourers' cottages to tenants.

replying forMinister for Local Government and Public Health (General Mulcahy): I have not received a definite scheme from the Louth County Board of Health. I have received a report adopted by the Board at their meeting on the 4th March, 1929, which contained suggestions as to the conditions upon which the cottages might be sold, but this report does not indicate any conviction on the part of the Board as to the desirability or advisability of any such sale nor as to the conditions upon which any such sale, if desirable, should be effected.
