Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Tipperary Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if the Irish Land Commission have inspected the untenanted lands of Mrs. Butler, Park, parish of Killea, Templemore, Co. Tipperary; if they have decided to acquire these lands for sub-division to relieve the congestion in the neighbourhood, and, if so, when will a scheme for sub-division take place.

The lands of Mrs. Butler at Park have been inspected and the question of their acquisition is at present under consideration by the Land Commission.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if the Irish Land Commission have acquired the Lloyd Estate at Croonaun, parish of Clonakenny, North Tipperary, for division, and, if so, when it is proposed to divide same.

The Land Commission have under consideration the question of the resumption of the holding of Major Edward F. Lloyd, containing 129 acres, in the townland of Mount-frisco on the estate of Stephen Lloyd, to which the Deputy appears to refer. The position regarding the lands of Longford, formerly the property of Major Lloyd, is being considered in conjunction with the lands of Mount-frisco.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if the Irish Land Commission are aware that a great deal of congestion exists in the neighbourhood of the Parker. Hutchinson Estate, Timoney, parish of Couraganeen, North Tipperary; if he has taken steps to acquire that ranch for division, and, if so, when will the estate be broken up.

The circumstances of the Parker-Hutchinson Estate at Timoney are at present under consideration by the Land Commission, and any further action for acquisition will depend on the result of these enquiries.
