Vol. 40 No. 24

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Delmedge Estate (Co. Tipperary).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state if the Land Commission has completely acquired the Delmedge Estate at Ballywire, Co. Tipperary; if all matters of a legal nature have been settled as between the owners of the estate and the Land Commission; and, if so, will he state the definite date on which the estate will be divided amongst the uneconomic holders and landless people in the area.

The Land Commission have completed the negotiations for the purchase of the lands of Ballywire on the Trinity College Estate (formerly Delmedge Estate) and a scheme for their division is in course of preparation, but until this scheme has been completed and approved it is not possible to state when the lands will be divided.
