Vol. 41 No. 1

Death of Former Members of Dáil.

Since the dissolution there occurred the tragic death of Mr. Patrick Reynolds, a member of the last Dáil and a candidate for Leitrim-Sligo at the General Election, and the death of Mr. John Daly, who had been returned for his old constituency of East Cork to serve in the present Dáil. Both Mr. Reynolds and Mr. Daly had given assiduous attention to their duties as Deputies, and, as business men, had long and intimate connection with the trade and development of their constituencies. I would ask you, sir, on behalf of the Dáil, to convey to their relatives an expression of our sincere regret and sympathy.

Deputies rose in their places.
