Vol. 41 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mulkeer Drainage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Finance if the report of the engineers who investigated the Mulkeer Drainage Scheme, Cappamore, Co. Limerick, has yet been presented to him, and, if so, will he take steps to have negotiations between his Department and the Limerick County Council expedited so that the scheme may be completed and work commenced during the coming summer.

The reports of the engineer and valuer who investigated the proposed Mulkeer Drainage Scheme have been received.

The question of further extending Government commitments under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1925, is under consideration. There will be no avoidable delay in communicating with the Limerick County Council.
