asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state what steps have been taken, or are being taken, to divide the lands in Mulroy and Milford on the Leitrim estate and the lands in Deryveagh on the Adair estate amongst the tenants in these areas.

The Land Commission have under consideration the question of the acquisition of the lands on the Leitrim estate to which the Deputy refers, but it is not possible at present to state when the lands will be acquired and divided.

The offer by the Land Commission in respect of an area of the Glenveigh (Adair) estate has been accepted by the present owner, Mr. Kingsley Porter, but it is not possible to state when the lands will be divided until a scheme for their division has been completed and approved.
