Vol. 42 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Turbary on Galway Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state the number and area of the turbary plots which the Land Commission have decided to utilise for local needs on Holding No. 57, estate of J. A. Lewis, Co. Galway, S. 1990, and which is about to be resumed, and to whom it is proposed to allot them.

No scheme for the division of the turbary on the holding of Mr. William J. Farren on the Lewis estate, County Galway, has been prepared, and the Land Commission are not at present in a position to give any information as to the disposal of the turbary.
