Vol. 44 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Aerial Mail Service.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether any agreement has been arrived at between the Governments of Canada, Great Britain and the Saorstát with regard to the aerial transport of mails to and from liners calling at Cobh, in connection with the mail service between Canada and Europe, and, if so, whether such agreement will be submitted to the Oireachtas for approval.

The possibility of establishing such a service was generally explored, but no agreement of the kind indicated in the question was arrived at.
