Financial Resolutions. - Financial Resolution No. 6—Customs.

(1) That the several customs duties imposed by Section 11 of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 20 of 1932), and mentioned at Reference Numbers 1, 18, 32, 34 and 36 respectively in the First Schedule to that Act and also the customs duty imposed by Section 13 of the said Act and mentioned at Reference Number 2 in the Second Schedule to the said Act shall cease to be chargeable or leviable as on and from the 20th day of October, 1932.
(2) That the customs duty imposed by Section 15 of the Finance (Customs Duties) (No. 2) Act, 1932 (No. 11 of 1932), shall cease, as on and from the 20th day of October, 1932, to be chargeable or leviable on any of the articles mentioned in paragraph (b) of sub-section (1) of the said Section 15.
(3) It is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1927 (No. 7 of 1927).
