Vol. 44 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Restarting Silver Mine at Castlemaine.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will send down an Inspector to inquire into and report on the possibilities of re-starting the silver mine at Castlemaine, Co. Kerry, which was worked about 80 years ago and gave considerable local employment.

I shall arrange for an officer of my Department to visit Castlemaine and to report on the possibilities of the minerals alleged to exist there.
