Vol. 45 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - The Sligo Demesne.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will now state what steps, if any, are being taken by the Irish Land Commission to acquire the Sligo demesne for the relief of the acute congestion existing in the vicinity of the town of Westport.

I have nothing to add to my reply to the Deputy's question of 12th July last. The Land Commission have already taken over all the lands which they propose to acquire on the Sligo demesne at Westport.
