Vol. 46 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Shaen (Laoighis) Sanatorium.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the price paid by the Laoighis County Board of Health for the Shaen sanatorium; the amount originally estimated for the repair and reconstruction of the building; the amount already paid or due to be paid for such repair and reconstruction work; the amount of fees paid or due to be paid to the consulting engineer in connection with the purchase and repair of this building.

With regard to the first part of the question, it would appear from records of the Department that the Board paid the sum of £3,020 for house, lodge and 72 acres of land. The amount originally estimated for the repair and reconstruction of the building was £4,072. The information required in the remaining portions of the Deputy's question is not available in my Department, but should be obtainable, if the Deputy so desires, from the local authority concerned.
