Vol. 46 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Stradbally Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether the Land Commission propose to acquire the lands of Captain Cosby, Stradbally, County Leix; whether he is aware that Captain Cosby expressed his willingness to sell to the Commissioners some considerable time ago, and whether he can now indicate if and when these lands will be acquired and divided.

As the Deputy has already been informed the Land Commission made an offer for the lands of Killavally and Killalooghan which the owner, Captain Cosby, did not accept. The question of acquisition is still under consideration.
