Vol. 46 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Portarlington Waterworks Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether the plans and estimates for the provision of a waterworks scheme for the town of Portarlington have been received and sanctioned by his Department; if he will state the estimated cost of carrying out this work and the amount of the grant allocated for same.

Plans, specification and estimate of cost of Portarlington Waterworks Scheme are at present under examination. The estimated cost of the Scheme is £14,677 12s. The allocation of a grant rests with the Minister for Finance and I am not at present in a position to state what grant can be recommended.
