Vol. 46 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Civic Administration of Limerick.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether it is intended to introduce proposals for legislation to give effect to the recommendations of the Inspector of his Department, who held an inquiry recently into the civic administration of Limerick City, regarding the appointment of a City Manager and a Corporation of ten members, and, if so, when such proposals will be introduced.

The resolution of the Limerick Corporation approving of the recommendations of the Inspector following the recent inquiry was adopted on the 2nd instant and received in this Department on the 8th instant. The administrative question involved will receive early consideration.
