Vol. 47 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Distribution of Hollymount (County Mayo) Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state the cause of the delay by the Irish Land Commission in taking over for the relief of congestion the lands known as Coolaghbawn Farm, on the Bowen Estate, Hollymount, County Mayo, which are being grazed by Mr. Hession.

The question of the resumption of the holding of J.J. Hession in Coolaghbawn is at present under consideration by the Land Commission and will be dealt with as soon as possible. No undue delay has taken place, having regard to present circumstances.
