Vol. 48 No. 1

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business as on the Order Paper. At 9 o'clock it is proposed that Private Business be taken. The motion that was before the House some time ago in the names of Deputies O'Donovan and Curran will then be taken, and it is hoped to conclude the motion before the House adjourns.

Ordered accordingly.

Can the Vice-President give the House any idea as to when the Supplementary Estimate for the drainage of bogs, etc., will be introduced into the House?

At an early date, but I am not at present in a position to give a definite answer.

In view of the fact that the unemployment figures reveal an increase in the number of unemployed, will the Vice-President attempt to have this Supplementary Estimate introduced as soon as possible, so as to have the work begun at once?

That will be attended to.
