Vol. 48 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take No. 2 on the Order Paper first, that is Vote No. 71 (Sugar Beet Industry). Then we will go on to the Estimates, the business not to be interrupted at 12 o'clock. The next will be the Damage to Property (Compensation) (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 1933; the Road Traffic Bill, 1933— From the Seanad and the Local Government (Extension of Franchise) Bill. There will be no Private Deputies' Time. I should like also to announce that the Dáil will meet only on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

On the Road Traffic Bill the Minister has not yet intimated what is his intention with regard to the Seanad amendments. I understand there was something like 59 Seanad amendments. Could we have some information with regard to the Minister's intention with regard to these amendments?

The amendments from the Seanad were only circulated yesterday and I propose to accept all the amendments. I understand it has been arranged to take the Road Traffic Bill on Tuesday.

No Private Deputies' Time to be given to-day.

Ordered accordingly.
