Vol. 49 No. 5

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business as on the Order Paper, beginning with item No. 4, the Seeds and Fertilisers (Supply) Bill. There will be no private Deputies' time given this week. It is proposed to ask the Dáil to rise to-morrow at 7 o'clock to enable Deputies to attend a State function.

Is it clearly understood that in the event of our so doing we will not be asked to sit all night on Friday, all day on Saturday and all night on Saturday?

If there were some further conventions we would be able to get through the work required to be done.

Is it to be understood that if the House is to be asked to rise at 7 o'clock to-morrow it will not subsequently be asked to sit all night on Friday, all day on Saturday and all night on Saturday?

It will depend upon the length of time Deputies speak.

It will not depend on the length of time the President takes to receive his guests?
