Vol. 49 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bounties on Export of Cattle.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will lay on the Table of the House a return showing—(a) the names of the persons to whom bounties were paid on the export of cattle, live stock or other agricultural produce; (b) the amount paid to each person during the financial year ending 31st March, 1933; (c) the amount so paid to each such person during the first quarter of the current financial year.

Apart from the fact that the preparation of the details in question would call for an expenditure of time and staff which would not be justified, I am not prepared to furnish the information in question, as this would entail a publication of matters relating to the private business of the persons concerned.
