The business to-day will be as on the Order Paper, with the exception of Item No. 4. It is proposed to take Private Members' Time this week for Government business. If the discussion on Item No. 13 (Unemployment Assistance Bill, 1933) and Item No. 14 (Unemployment Insurance Bill, 1933) is concluded to-day, then to-morrow will be available for Deputy MacDermot's motion.
Order of Business.
I take it that in proposing to take Items No. 6 to 11 to-day the President intends that the attitude of the Government to the Seanad amendments on these items will be indicated. Is the President proposing to take these items to-day?
When we come to each one of these Bills the Minister in charge will indicate what the Government attitude is, and if objection be taken to any particular one, then it can be postponed to a more suitable time.
Ordered: That Public Business be not interrupted at 9 o'clock.
