Vol. 49 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lough Foyle Waters.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if any progress has been made during the recess on the question of jurisdiction over the waters of Lough Foyle.

I refer the Deputy to the reply given on the 27th October to a question put by Deputy McMenamin, and to the replies given to supplementary questions put by the Deputy himself on the same date. The Government declines to refer the issue of jurisdiction to a British commonwealth tribunal.

And the answer is the same as in the previous question— no progress has been made.
