Dangerous Drugs Bill, 1933—First Stage.
Leave granted to introduce a Bill "entitled an Act to make further and better provision for regulating and controlling the importation, exportation, manufacture, sale and use of opium, morphine, cocaine, and other dangerous drugs, and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid"—(Minister for Defence, Mr. Aiken).
Bill read the First Time; Second Stage to be taken on Wednesday, November 22nd.
