Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Collection of Land Annuities in Mayo.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the amount of the land annuities and arrears due to the Irish Land Commission in County Mayo on December 1st, 1933; the amount of such annuities which were paid to the Land Commission up to April 1st, 1934, and the amount of the warrants sent to the sheriff for collection up to April 10th, 1934.

The aggregate amount of the revised instalments of land purchase annuity payable in the County Mayo for the second gale of 1933 is £50,764. Of this sum £45,798 was paid at the 31st March, 1934. Up to the 10th April, 1934, warrants for sums amounting to £1,275 were issued under Section 26, Land Act, 1933.
