Vol. 51 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Import Licences.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will submit to the Committee of Public Accounts or an ad hoc Committee of the Oireachtas a schedule of all licences to import free of customs duty articles subject to tariffs issued by him or in consultation with him since April 1st, 1933.

All the records pertaining to the importation of goods free of duty under licences are available for the inspection of the Comptroller and Auditor-General and members of his staff. The furnishing of a schedule of all such licences is, therefore, considered unnecessary.
