Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - New Insurance Society Employees.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the names of the persons appointed to positions (a) temporarily and (b) permanently, under the new National Health Insurance Society, who are not persons previously employed by societies abolished or to be abolished as a result of the putting into effect of the National Health Insurance Act, 1933; the positions held by persons so appointed; the date of appointment and the amount of salary, allowances, or other emoluments paid.

(a) The number of persons who have been appointed in a temporary capacity is 83.

(b) No persons have been appointed permanently who were not previously employed by societies.

A statement showing the names of the persons appointed temporarily, the date of appointment and the amount of salary is available for perusal by the Deputy in my office.
