In Committee on Finance. - Fisheries (Tidal Waters) Bill, 1934—Money Resolution.

I move:—

Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach, maidir le hAcht ar bith a rithfear sa tSiosón so chun socruithe do dhéanamh chun an chirt phuiblí iascaigh in uiscí taoide gur creideadh iascach ar leithligh no iascach aon-chirt do bheith ionta agus inar húsáideadh san mar cheart roimhe seo do rialáil agus do stiúradh agus chun socruithe do dhéanamh i geóir nithe eile bhaineas no ghabhas leis na nithe roimhráite, a údarú go n-íocfaí amach as airgead a sholáthróidh an tOireachtas:

(a) deontaisí ar bith do bhéarfaidh an tAire Talmhaíochta fé fhorálacha an Achta san do Bhúird Choimeádaithe in ionad rátaí iascaigh do gheibheadh na Búird sin roimhe seo;

(b) deontaisí ar bith eile do bhéarfaidh an tAire Talmhaíochta le toiliú an Aire Airgid do Bhúird Choimeádaithe fé fhorálacha an Achta san;

(c) costaisí riaracháin ar bith fé n-a raghaidh an tAire Talmhaíochta chun an Achta san do chur in éifeacht.

That, as regards any Act of the present Session to make provision for the regulation and control of the public right of fishery in tidal waters in which formerly a several or exclusive fishery was believed to exist and was enjoyed as of right and to make provision for other matters relating to or connected with the matters aforesaid, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of:

(a) any grants made by the Minister for Agriculture under the provisions of such Act to Boards of Conservators in lieu of fishery rates formerly received by such Boards;

(b) any other grants made by the Minister for Agriculture with the consent of the Minister for Finance to Boards of Conservators under the provisions of such Act;

(c) any administration expenses incurred by the Minister for Agriculture for the purpose of carrying such Act into effect.
