Vol. 54 No. 3

Public Business. - Supplementary Estimates.

I move:

That leave be given by the Dáil to introduce the following Supplementary Estimates for the services of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1935, namely:—

Votes Nos. 11 (Public Works and Buildings), 67 (External Affairs), 70 (Export Bounties and Subsidies).

Estimates Nos. 11 and 67 will be circulated immediately, and Estimate No. 70 will be circulated late this evening.

Leave granted.

When is it proposed to take the Estimates?

To-morrow.

Surely not. Do I understand the Minister for Finance to ask the House to discuss an estimate for public works, an estimate for external affairs and an important estimate dealing with export bounties and subsidies to-morrow, in view of the fact that notice was only given to-day of the intention to introduce the Estimates?

This day week then.

In connection with the Estimate for Bounties and Subsidies, would the Minister say what is the amount of it?

It will be circulated this evening.

But in case it is not.

It will be circulated to-morrow then. At any rate, we are not taking it until next week.

Estimates ordered to be taken on Wednesday, 5th December.
