asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the recent flooding of the Mullaghnoe river, County Mayo, caused considerable damage to house property in Charlestown and district, and if he will state what steps, if any, it is intended to take to prevent a recurrence of this flooding; and whether a grant will be made available for the drainage of this river.
