The replies to the questions of Deputies Doyle, Fitzgerald, Holohan, O'Reilly, Burke, O'Leary, McMenamin, Brodrick, Lynch, Minch, Roddy, Rogers, Finlay, O'Higgins, Reidy, Fagan, MacEoin, Coburn, Fitzgerald-Kenney, Davitt, O'Reilly, O Braonáin, Morrissey, Wall, Esmonde, The O'Mahony and Deputy Costello are incorporated in the following tabular statement showing, by counties, the number of persons provided by the Land Commission with new agricultural holdings, on the division of untenanted land (as distinct from enlargements of existing holdings for the relief of congestion and from ordinary rearrangements of tenanted land) in each of the calendar years 1925 to 1934, and the total areas of land included in such holdings in each year.
The figures, however, must be taken as only approximate, as owing to some of the records (particularly those of the earlier years) not being readily available partial estimation has been necessary in order to complete the statement.
